Effective date: 1 October 2026

Operator: Movegenie AI LTD (“MoveGenie”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. Registered-office details are available on request from support@movegenie.ai or via the Companies House register.

Contact: support@movegenie.ai

1. What these Terms cover

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and MoveGenie. They govern your use of:

  • The MoveGenie mobile app for people moving home (the “User App”);

  • The Estate Agency portal at agency.movegenie.ai;

  • The Service Provider portal at serviceprovider.movegenie.ai;

  • The Admin console; and

  • The MoveGenie API and any related site, documentation or communication (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Additional terms apply to specific roles (see §12 for Estate Agencies and §13 for Service Providers).

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Who can use the Service

To create an account you must:

  • be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher);

  • be a resident of the United Kingdom or accessing the Service in connection with a UK move;

  • provide accurate, current and complete information; and

  • keep your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at security@movegenie.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your account

  • Sign-up. You can sign up using an email address and password (with OTP email verification) or by signing in with Google.

  • Verification. We may verify your email and mobile number by one-time password (OTP).

  • Multi-device. You can be signed in on multiple devices. Refresh tokens are scoped per device and can be revoked individually by signing out on that device.

  • Deleting your account. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the app. Deletion is immediate and removes your account and cascaded data (chat sessions and messages, saved items, bookings, tasks, notifications, community posts and comments). See the Privacy Policy §9 for detail. Backups may retain a copy for a short rolling period before rolling off.

  • Inactivity and suspension. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, appear compromised, or have been inactive for an extended period, with reasonable notice where practicable.

4. What MoveGenie is — and isn’t

MoveGenie is a planning and discovery tool for home movers. Depending on the features you use, it will:

  • create a personalised checklist of tasks for your move;

  • send reminders by push, email or SMS;

  • provide a chat assistant (the “Genie”) that answers questions, suggests services, looks up local information (e.g. bin days, council tax) and helps you plan;

  • surface service providers (removals, cleaning, broadband, etc.) and local places (cafes, gyms, GPs) near your new address;

  • let you save documents, contracts, services and places;

  • let you post, comment and react in the community feed with other users in your local area;

  • if you signed up through an estate agent, credit that agent with a referral.

MoveGenie is not:

  • a legal, financial, tax, insurance or medical advisor. Information in the app (including Genie replies, checklists, council-info summaries, contract data and neighbourhood suggestions) is for general guidance only and is not professional advice.

  • a party to any contract you enter into with a service provider we surface. Bookings, payments (if any) and service quality are between you and that provider.

  • an estate agent, conveyancer, letting agent, mortgage broker, removals company, utility supplier, insurer or council.

You are responsible for your own decisions. Always verify important information (e.g. bin collection days, council tax bands, provider prices) with the official source before acting on it.

5. AI-generated content

MoveGenie uses large language models (currently OpenAI) to power the Genie assistant, classify your chat intent, generate chat titles, and summarise council/local-info pages.

  • AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on them for decisions with legal, financial, medical or safety implications.

  • Genie may cite web sources (e.g. council pages) — click through and check the source before acting.

  • Your chat message and a summary of your profile context are sent to OpenAI on each turn to generate a response. See Privacy Policy §4.

You are responsible for how you use AI-generated suggestions.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or harmful;

  • upload documents or content that infringe someone else’s rights (including copyright, trade mark, privacy or confidentiality);

  • upload malware, or attempt to interfere with, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service or its security controls;

  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any MoveGenie system without prior written permission (see §15 for responsible disclosure);

  • scrape, mirror or otherwise systematically extract data from the Service, other than via APIs we make available to you and within their documented rate limits;

  • resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product;

  • impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with an agency, provider or council;

  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages;

  • attempt to bypass authentication, access another user’s account, or gain access to admin-only endpoints;

  • use the Genie to generate content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, harassing or sexually explicit;

  • disable, remove or attempt to circumvent notifications required for the operation of the Service (e.g. security alerts).

We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

7. Your content

  • You retain ownership of the content you upload — documents, contract details, chat messages, photos, saved items, community posts, comments and reactions (“Your Content”).

  • You grant MoveGenie a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, display and process Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service for you and other users where you have chosen to post content publicly. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

  • You are solely responsible for Your Content and for keeping your own copies. While we take reasonable care, we do not guarantee that Your Content will always be available or preserved (see §10).

  • You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload Your Content and grant the licence above.

8. Community content, moderation and user conduct

The MoveGenie app includes a community feed where users can post, comment and react within their local area. Content posted to the community feed is visible to other users in that area.

8.1 Zero tolerance

MoveGenie has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. By using the community feed you agree not to post, upload, share, link to or otherwise transmit any content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, bullying, intimidating or incites violence;

  • is hateful, discriminatory or promotes hatred against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality or any other protected characteristic;

  • is sexually explicit, pornographic or depicts nudity;

  • depicts, promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, violence or illegal activity;

  • exploits, endangers or sexualises minors in any way;

  • promotes dangerous or illegal acts, including the sale or use of illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated goods;

  • infringes anyone’s intellectual-property rights, privacy or confidentiality;

  • contains spam, scams, phishing, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, or deceptive commercial content;

  • impersonates another person, misrepresents your identity or affiliation, or uses fake or stolen identities;

  • discloses private information about another person (including addresses, phone numbers, financial details or anything that would amount to doxxing) without their consent;

  • contains malware, viruses, trojans or any code designed to harm devices, networks or data; or

  • is otherwise objectionable, in our reasonable judgement, having regard to the nature of a shared service that includes people in the middle of a stressful life event.

8.2 How to report content

If you see content or behaviour that violates these Terms, please report it immediately. You can:

  • Tap the Report button on any post, comment or user profile in the app;

  • Email moderation@movegenie.ai with a link or screenshot of the content, the user involved, and a brief description of the problem.

Reports are confidential. We will not reveal to the reported user who filed the report.

8.3 How to block another user

You can block any other user from the app at any time by opening their profile and tapping Block. A blocked user cannot see your posts, comment on your posts, react to your content, or contact you through the Service.

8.4 Our response and moderation commitments

  • We review every report within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Where content is reported and we determine, in our sole discretion, that it violates these Terms, we will remove the content and may take further action against the user responsible, including warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of their account, in each case without prior notice.

  • We may also act on content we identify ourselves through automated filtering or routine moderation, without a user report.

  • We may preserve records of removed content and the circumstances of its removal for a reasonable period for safety, legal and regulatory purposes.

  • Users ejected for abusive behaviour, hate speech, harassment of other users, sexual or exploitative content, or any violation of §8.1 that we consider serious, will have their account permanently terminated and may be prevented from creating a new account.

Our decisions on moderation are final at our sole discretion. If you believe your content has been removed or your account suspended in error, you may appeal by emailing moderation@movegenie.ai within 14 days.

8.5 Your responsibilities as a poster

  • You are solely responsible for anything you post to the community feed.

  • Do not share information about your home, address, movements or anyone else’s that you would not want visible to a stranger. The community feed is not private.

  • Content you post may be seen, screenshotted or shared by other users. We cannot control what others do with content you make public.

  • You grant MoveGenie the licence described in §7 to host and display your posts to other users of the Service in your area, for as long as you choose to leave them posted.

8.6 Reporting illegal content to the authorities

Where content reported to us appears to involve a credible threat of harm, child safety concerns, or other illegal activity, we may report it to the relevant authorities (including the police, the Internet Watch Foundation, or other appropriate bodies) and will cooperate with any lawful investigation.

9. Third-party services and content

The Service integrates with, links to or summarises content from third parties (e.g. Google Maps, Google Sign-In, Firecrawl-scraped council pages, service provider websites, estate agency logos, Cloudinary image hosting, Firebase). We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

If you book or purchase from a service provider we surface, the contract is between you and the provider. We are not a party to that transaction and provide no warranty as to the provider or their services beyond what we control.

10. Availability, changes and backups

  • We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages and third-party failures happen.

  • We may change, add or remove features at any time. Where a change is material and adverse to you, we will notify you in advance where reasonably practicable.

  • Backups. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important documents and information. We take routine backups but do not guarantee any specific recovery point or time.

11. Fees

The core MoveGenie User App is currently provided free of charge to end users. We may introduce paid features in future; if we do, we will describe the price and terms clearly before you buy, and no charge will be made without your prior agreement.

Fees for the Estate Agency and Service Provider portals (if any) are set out in the separate written agreement with those partners.

12. Additional terms for Estate Agencies

If you use MoveGenie as an estate agency (via agency.movegenie.ai), the following also apply:

  • Referral link. We issue you a unique referral code. Users who sign up through it are linked to your agency for the purpose of referral crediting.

  • Revenue share. Where you have entered into a written revenue-share arrangement with us, we will credit your agency a share of qualifying bookings by referred users on the terms of that agreement.

  • Invite emails. You may send co-branded invite emails from within the portal. You confirm that you have the recipient’s consent (or a lawful basis under UK GDPR / PECR) to email them, and you will comply with all applicable marketing and data-protection laws.

  • Brand assets. By uploading your logo and brand colour, you grant us the right to display them to users you refer.

  • Prohibited conduct. You must not misrepresent MoveGenie, promise outcomes we do not offer, or use the portal for anything beyond your own agency’s referral and analytics activity.

  • Termination. Either of us may terminate the agency relationship on reasonable notice; commissions already earned and unpaid at termination remain payable subject to the written agreement.

13. Additional terms for Service Providers

If you use MoveGenie as a service provider (via serviceprovider.movegenie.ai), the following also apply:

  • Listings. You may submit services (name, description, category, subcategory, images up to 5 per service, location, pricing model, cost, external website URL). All listings are subject to admin approval before they go live and may be re-reviewed after edits.

  • Accuracy. You warrant that your listings, pricing, availability and business information are accurate, kept up to date, and not misleading.

  • Rights in images. You warrant that you have the rights to any logo or service images you upload and grant us a licence to display them.

  • Bookings and payments. MoveGenie provides discovery and (where enabled) click-through to your website. Contracts with users are between you and the user. You are responsible for fulfilling your services, honouring pricing, and complying with all consumer-protection law.

  • Rejection / removal. We may reject, suspend or remove any listing that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms, with reason given where practicable.

  • Data. You will handle any personal data of users you receive via the Service in accordance with UK GDPR and your own privacy policy.

14. Intellectual property

  • MoveGenie, the MoveGenie name, logo, checklist templates, chat prompts, code and design are owned by Brdge Ltd and its licensors, and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

  • We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

  • Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual-property right to you. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted.

  • Feedback you send us about the Service may be used by us without restriction and without compensation to you.

15. Security and responsible disclosure

If you discover a security vulnerability, please email security@movegenie.ai with a description and reproduction steps. Do not exploit the vulnerability, access data that is not yours, or publicly disclose it before we have had a reasonable opportunity to fix it. We will not pursue you for good-faith research that follows this process.

16. Warranties and disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any specific result will be achieved.

  • We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of Genie responses, checklists, council/local-info summaries, provider listings, place data, contract renewal reminders, community content posted by other users, or any other information in the Service. Verify important information with official sources.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have as a consumer under UK law that cannot be excluded (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

  • any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings.

  • We are not liable for loss of, or damage to, your content where we have taken reasonable care.

  • We are not liable for the content posted by other users in the community feed, which is the responsibility of the user who posted it.

  • Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the Service in that period, or (b) £100.

If you are using the Service in a business capacity (e.g. as an estate agent or service provider), some consumer protections do not apply and the liability cap and exclusions above apply in full.

18. Indemnity (business users only)

If you use the Service as an estate agency, service provider or other business user, you agree to indemnify and hold MoveGenie harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) content you upload or messages you send through the Service, or (c) your acts or omissions towards users you interact with via the Service.

19. Suspension and termination

  • By you. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account (§3).

  • By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms (including §8), if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would create an unacceptable security or legal risk. For breaches of §8 involving abusive conduct, hate speech, harassment, sexual or exploitative content, or any serious violation, we may terminate without prior notice.

  • Effect. On termination your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature survive termination (e.g. §7, §8.4 (preservation of moderation records), §14, §16, §17, §18, §20, §21) will continue to apply.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and MoveGenie agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

We would rather resolve issues informally. Please email support@movegenie.ai with any complaint before starting formal proceedings; we will try to respond within 30 days.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you in-app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect where practicable. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

22. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms (with the Privacy Policy and any role-specific written agreement) are the entire agreement between us on their subject matter.

  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force.

  • No waiver. Not enforcing a right on one occasion does not waive it for future occasions.

  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, on notice to you.

  • Third-party rights. No one other than you and us has any rights under these Terms (Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 excluded).

  • Notices. We may give you notices in the app, by email to the address on your account, or by push notification. You should give us notice at support@movegenie.ai.

  • The MoveGenie mobile app for people moving home (the “User App”);

  • The Estate Agency portal at agency.movegenie.ai;

  • The Service Provider portal at serviceprovider.movegenie.ai;

  • be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher);

  • be a resident of the United Kingdom or accessing the Service in connection with a UK move;

  • create a personalised checklist of tasks for your move;

  • send reminders by push, email or SMS;

  • provide a chat assistant (the “Genie”) that answers questions, suggests services, looks up local information (e.g. bin days, council tax) and helps you plan;

  • surface service providers (removals, cleaning, broadband, etc.) and local places (cafes, gyms, GPs) near your new address;

  • let you save documents, contracts, services and places;

  • let you post, comment and react in the community feed with other users in your local area;

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or harmful;

  • upload documents or content that infringe someone else’s rights (including copyright, trade mark, privacy or confidentiality);

  • upload malware, or attempt to interfere with, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service or its security controls;

  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any MoveGenie system without prior written permission (see §15 for responsible disclosure);

  • scrape, mirror or otherwise systematically extract data from the Service, other than via APIs we make available to you and within their documented rate limits;

  • resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product;

  • impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with an agency, provider or council;

  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages;

  • attempt to bypass authentication, access another user’s account, or gain access to admin-only endpoints;

  • use the Genie to generate content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, harassing or sexually explicit;

  • is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, bullying, intimidating or incites violence;

  • is hateful, discriminatory or promotes hatred against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality or any other protected characteristic;

  • is sexually explicit, pornographic or depicts nudity;

  • depicts, promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, violence or illegal activity;

  • exploits, endangers or sexualises minors in any way;

  • promotes dangerous or illegal acts, including the sale or use of illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated goods;

  • infringes anyone’s intellectual-property rights, privacy or confidentiality;

  • contains spam, scams, phishing, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, or deceptive commercial content;

  • impersonates another person, misrepresents your identity or affiliation, or uses fake or stolen identities;

  • discloses private information about another person (including addresses, phone numbers, financial details or anything that would amount to doxxing) without their consent;

You can:

  • Tap the Report button on any post, comment or user profile in the app;

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
